The Foundation shall endeavor to make distributions from the Fund to support annual awards as described below. Award recipients will be selected by a committee comprised of members of the board of directors of the Berks County Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) and a member of the Foundation's staff. In the event the Berks County Chapter disbands, representatives from a neighboring chapter shall replace the Berks County members of the committee. The Foundation may make distributions in one or both chosen categories, in varying amounts, as the size of the Fund and the quality and quantity of the applicant pool permit.
